Which part is responsible for voice calls?

My Fairphone 4 phone got wet and now won’t make or receive calls (does not connect if I call.out and. goes straight to answer phone if someone calls me). Everything else seems to be working ok. Which part to I need to replace please?

Which phone are we talking about and did you let your phone dry good enough? Have a look at waterwiki

Thanks. It is a Fairphone 4. I think I dried it but I’ll check out waterwiki.

Your SIM card connection (assuming it’s a physical one) might have gone bad due to corrosion. Shut the phone down, remove the SIM card and clean the contacts with a cotton tip and some alcohol. Then put it back and try again.
Just an idea.
