Does anyone know when my Fairphone 4 will stop receiving security updates?
I don’t think anybody knows for sure when it will be but the FP3 still receives security updates.

So the FP4 will probably receive support for about two more years.
I’d say it’s almost certain the FP4 will receive software updates for two more years.
It’s now on Android 15 (I’m aware that some users still haven’t received it yet), i.e. two more years compared to Android 13 that is now end-of-life. I see no reason to assume that a) Google will stop A15 earlier compared to A13 and b) Fairphone stops update support for a given version of Android before its actual EOL.
What I’m really not sure about: will the FP4 get another upgrade to Android 16 (I’m speaking about the stock OS here, not custom ROMs) which in turn would mean an additional year of update support (2029 instead of 2028).
For me it’s unfortunately de facto obselete, since the update to Android 15 fails constantly.
