When phoning from first sim, second sim number appears

I am using a physical sim and esim. When I text someone from my physical sim, the number showing is my esim. Why?

So when I call someone from my physical sim, the incoming call shows as the number for the esim account. I have 2 profiles on one phone, each with it’s own sim and number.

So the person you call sees the esim number? How do you know you are calling from the physical SIM?

Because the numbers are different and the number showing is the esim number, but i’m logged into the physical sim account.

I have 2 profiles on one phone, each with their own sim and number. profile 1 is connected to the physical sim and profile 2 is associated with the esim.

When I try to request a code to set-up What’sapp with 2 accounts, the code doesn’t come through for the profile 1 account…

Sorted. I removed one sim and reset the wifi-internet aspect and deleted the e-sim, rebooted. then reinserted physical sim and checked that work before re-installing e-sim.
