Water damage - what to do now?

Hi everyone,

I dropped my Fairphone 3+ in water some days ago at work, and made the mistake of trying to turn it on right away. It didn’t work out, and when I got home I started reading the wiki about water damage.
I followed all the instructions after this and still doesn’t turn on (maybe because I tried to use right after the incident)

I wanted t o ask if it makes sense to buy the 3+ spare parts and change everything, or if it’s better to just get the new Fairphone 4.

Do not buy all the parts as it may be the core module which is only available via official repair.

Ideally contact a fairphoneangel and see if they can help.

Read a few other topics about disassembly, wiil add links.
