Volume bug Fairphone 5 with Fairbuds XL. 10% increments increase

My Fairphone 5 seems to me increasing volume at 10% increments, not the usual 5%.

This is easily replicated by looking at the volume slider whilst clicking. If you turn the volume all the way down and increase the volume once (1 click) you still do not get any sound.

If you increase the volume once more (a total of 2 clicks) you start getting sound. I continues with this, only increasing sound every other click. This make finely adjusting the volume impossible.

Anyone else having this problem?

I would actually prefer if you could allow me to adjust the volume in 1% increases. The 10% increase means I either get the volume too low or too loud for my preference.

Volume control is a frequent complaint unfortunately.

Do you see this with other devices including phone speaker, or just those Fairbuds XL?

The problem only happens in combination with the Fairbuds XL.

If I disconnect the headphones from my Fairphone, I can do the same test with turning the volume all the way down. I can hear it increasing the volume with every step.

Once I connect the Fairbuds XL, the volume increases with every other click, not every click.

I’m affected by this as well.
