Since some months the USB connection is active after starting the FP4, then it dies after 10 minutes. I changed cables and notebooks and notebook ports, so I can exclude hardware failure.
I replaced the port by an original spare part but without success.
No idea what to do to fix this issue.

Does this mean file transfer or any other USB activity (what about charging?) are aborted around the 10 minute mark?
Only file transfer is cancelled after 10 minute, charging works fine.
After rebooting the FP4 file transfer works again for 10 minutes.
It needs a reboot to activate file transfer.
As for me it is an (unknown) matter of the operating system
