I know this is the F-Droid thread but is there a reason why Uptodown is almost never mentioned in this forum? I recently discovered it and it seems like a well-organised, malware-free alternative app “store” (there are only free apps I think). At the first glance I already discovered some stuff I really miss about F-Droid which made OpenGApps indispensable for me (like Dropbox).
Probably because it’s not open source. Most people who want to stay away from G%§$e don’t want to give their data to some other company either. That’s why the Yalp Store is usually recommended to to get “Play Store Apps”.
