I got a notification about an update which I allowed. It deleted all my appointments in my calender. Also I used sweeping on my keyboard which it deactivated and now I can’t find any setting to turn it on again.
Never mind I realized that I had to reinstal google play. Now when I did that everything worked fine.

Yes, swype is only available on default if you have installed Google Play. But I believe there are other keyboards to replace the default keyboard which also have a swype option.
Yeah, and if you synchronize your calendar with Google Services, then they are gone after a update.

Glad you solved this at the moment you have to re-install the google apps after each update. Hopefully in future this will be resolved to make it easier
