Unable to receive voice calls

I’ve been using a giffgaff SIM, had the FP6 a few months now. I have become aware over the last few days that I am unable to receive standard voice calls - the caller hears “number unavailable, cannot connect” or something like that. This happens from several different phones (have asked friends and family to check). I have restarted the phone, no change. I’ve tried to go to the call forwarding settings in the phone app, but I get “call settings error: network or SIM card error”

I can make voice calls, I can send and receive SMS messages, but calls are not coming through.

The most recent change was a FP update on May 5th.

Any ideas what I can try?

The SIM card might be faulty. So if possible test another SIM and/or get im contact.with the provider.

Just someone reported the same problem in Switserland. There it happend just after the latest update. His SIM was 5 years old.

I have requested a fresh SIM, will test when it arrives.
