Unable to install e/OS on FP6, flashing doesn't work

Hello, bought a FP6 recently and tried to install e/OS on it. Followed steps by steps the safe guide linked on this very forum

After some troubles with drivers, I managed to follow every step with success, I unlocked the bootloader, fastboot flashin unlock, fastboot flashing unlock crticial, got a 1 in return on every listed requests.
On the “install e/OS” step, downloaded the latest version after making sure I had not SPL date issue, extracted as written in the guide, and started the ./flash_FP6_factory.sh command, it worked for the first couple files but I quickly got this error. Tried restarting as stated but I kept getting similar errors.

I tried 6 different usb ports on 2 different PCs (windows 10 and 11), 4 different USB cables, including one brand new that I just bought yesterday

After that I tried using the e/OS website installer, everythings works fine till the e/OS installing step where I get stuck for a dozen minutes on a specific install, then I get this error

(Installing devcfg.img : 100/100)

(an error has occured : unable to connect to your device in bootloader mode. unplug and replub then try again)

Unsure what to try next, any help would be appreciated !

It’s very strange this has happened even when trying various cables, USB ports and even computers.
Did the computers have different OS versions?

If you still want to install /e/OS and have not succeeded yet, then you might have a look at the angelsmap . Maybe there’s an fairphoneangel near you who might be experienced with flashing.

I had similar issues.

I did managed to get e/os installed by switching my adb and fastboot commands to the ones from platform tools.

I was using Linux operating system to do so as my sdays of using windows are well over with my old laptop, which get no support for windows 10.

On their website ( e/os ) within instructions it stated that Linux version of commands adb and fastboot might not be up.to date. So I had to download those from google which after I did the installation process went well and I was even able to lock the boolader

I hope this helps

run

chmod +x flash_FP6_factory.sh && ./flash_FP6_factory.sh

OR

chmod +x flash_FP6_factory.sh

then

./flash_FP6_factory.sh
