TWRP: Does OpenGAPPs prevent me from losing my apps, app data, pictures, etc?

Should I just do a backup with Cache and Data? I already have OpenGAPPs installed so will this prevent me from losing my apps, app data, pictures, etc?

Okay, by the way, I’ve not downloaded everything from Play Store, some of my main apps are the standard android apps or downloaded via F-Droid. Not sure if that makes a difference.

If I do a full backup with Boot, System, Cache and Data, would I really want to recover all of this backup after installing the new OTA fix for Lineage OS?
