Hi, I’ve had my fairphone for half a year now, as well as the fp earbuds. The quality of the sound is good, however it annoys me that the sound is interrupted every now and then because of the sensor that checks if the earbuds are in the ear or not.
I have tried all three sizes of ear tips. The problem is that the ear tips do not fit my ear very well and the sensor detects it as if the earbud was outside the ear, so it stops the sound.
I have also tried using the tips from my previous earbuds, which are from a different brand and they actually suited me. The problem is that they have a different shape and do not fit into the power case.
The only thing I can do with it is to tape the sensors over but then the touch controls don’t work. I’ve tried looking all over for a way to disable the sensor function, but I haven’t found anything.
Have you had the same problem or do you know how to solve it?
