Transfer WiFi access point data from FP1 to FP2

Is there a way to transfer the list of WiFi access points including their passwords from FP1 to FP2?
I have access points with remembered passwords on my FP1 that I would like to have available on FP2 instead of finding out and reentering those passwords.

There’s an application available on F-Droid called oandbackup; you can use that to make a backup of your WiFi access points. Then you just copy the backup files to the FP2 and use oandbackup to ‘restore’ the settings to that device.

There may be compatibility issues between the different versions of Android, though - so your results may vary.
