The mediasound of my FF3 doesn’t work and when someone is calling me I cann’t hear him. When I put him on the speaker I can hear him and talk to him. I tested the speaker and it works alright. I also can hear the media through the headphones. I have also reset the phone to The factory settings. What can be the problem. Has someone an idea what I can stil do?
Can you go to Settings → System → Statusbar → Systemicons and enable Headset? Then check if the headset-icon appears in the statusbar while the headset/headphones are NOT plugged in. My suspicion is that the Phone permanently senses a plugged headphone for some reason.

Are you sure? I am on English and can’t find the statusbar.
I am on a custom ROM, but I thought this menu is part of AOSP for sure, because I changed ROMs a lot and it was always there.
Maybe a search for
headphones or headset will bring up a result!? And maybe there is another way to find out if a headset is sensed by the phone? 
I hope this one is the same for you. If you play back media you might see if a headset is sensed in the quicksettings/notification area.
I neither think its available with FPOS, however it could be made available e.g. by SystemUI App.
However I’m wondering if the earspeaker is just broken, can you confirm @Arnold1 that you tested the earspeaker?

I tested the speaker. Is the ear speaker something else? I couldn’t find that in the testprogram from Fairphone.
The earspeaker is used while normal calls at the ear and the loudspeaker while hands free calls, so there should be a test for both normally, while I’m not sure how the 2 speaker are called in the FP3 Testmenu.
Yes, it’s called ‚Receiver (test)‘.

Thank you. I tested the reciever and it works alright. But by magic the media sound works again and I suppose that I can hear the phone caller also again but I must still find that out. Thank you for the help.

I was a little bit premature. I still can’t hear the caller. I think that the earphone is broken. In the FP test it makes no noise. Does someone knows which module I must replace? The top module?
I’m not 100% sure, but I can’t think of any other module, which could hold the ear piece.
Yes, the earpiece speaker is in the top module (though not the little metallic grille which forms part of the display but just protects the underlying speaker).
Starting with the top module:
- The 8 MP ƒ2.0 selfie camera and earpiece speaker are both removable.
However, before ordering a replacement top module, you might just check that the ribbon connector is clean and undamaged and properly engaged at both ends.

At last it seems a little mystery. Both speakers work most of the time again (sometimes not) without replacing anything. I suspect that humidity might be the culprit. Thank you all for your reactions
