I have just noticed that the information on network in the status bar is moving (when the screen is unlocked).
I want to have this information there but I do not want to have it moving (if it makes any sense:) ) - it seems my eyes react and respond to movement in a kinda distracting way.
What options do I have? was it always like that and I have just never noticed? Is it because the network name is too long?
It is because the network name is too long. We had that whole thing about the name appearing despite people having the setting off. At no point did anyone mention that we could turn off the scrolling next, probably because we cant. Which is what made it extra annoying.
Sadly your options are, dealing with it, turning the name off, or switching to a provider with a shorter name.

I changed the other SIM for data preference and the issue is gone. In my lucky case it does not matter as it will switch automatically to the other one.
Not the best workaround but am happy with it:)
