The "boot loader" of my F5 is unlocked

Hello,

After having rebooted my F5, it keeps writing “Your boot loader is unlocked…” And I don’t know how I can lock it again. I tried to find on the web but no answer…

I guess that is the reason why some of my apps don’t want to work…

Thank you for your help

Anne

The instructions can be found in this article: https://support.fairphone.com/hc/en-us/articles/10492476238865-How-to-unlock-or-lock-your-Fairphone-s-bootloader in the lower section titled “How to re-lock your bootloader (optional)”.

Please don’t overlook the warning there that any change of the bootloader status triggers a factory reset.

which OS is installed? The bootloader does not unlock by itself

OS is Google. I tried to take away Google but I couldn’t get til the end of the change and Google came back.

Thank you urs-lesse, I will try that today. I just have to save everything before because if I understood well that restarts everything,

OK, if you are still on Fairphone’s pre-installed “Android OS”, this should normally work without risks (apart from the certain loss of data).

I read the document but I can’t find the validation instr ctions on my phone once I typed " fastboot flashing lock_critical". My phone doesn’t restart …Why ? Helpppp! :grimacing:
