I currently have three devices with the same phone number. A macbook pro, an ipad, and a fairphone 6. My fairphone hardly receives any texts. I believe the problem is that any messages being sent from an apple device are being sent as imessages, and because they are successfully being sent to my macbook pro and ipad, they are never sent as SMS messages, and so my fairphone isn’t getting them. What do I do about this?
Welcome to the Fairphone community.
You can use iMessages on Apple devices only. So you have to decide whether you want to make the step to Android and say goodbye to iMessages on that number or stay with it and miss them on the FP6.
Both at the same time isn‘t possible as far as I know.
