Standard Calls - No Mic or Speaker

Hello,
I can’t make standard phone calls. The microphone and speaker doesn’t work, the call connects as I can see the time ticking over. Tried speaker phone too, that also does not work.

I have tried the speaker and mic test number and they both work. Whats app works. I have recenlty installed Telegram and Signal, I am thinking this could be an issue.

I suppose you had better uninstall Telgram, Signal and WhatsApp, it appears as though WhatsApp is not letting control of the Audio system.

There are other phone apps but hopefully you can get back to the default phone app working.

I have noticed since my installation of WhatsApp and a Voice recorder I had problems which were largely resolved once I removed the Voice recorder.

I still use WhtasApp which is just about OK and normal calls are fine

I followed the info in this link and I got my calls back!
