I have the exact same problem. Itnhappened about 6 months ago and hasn’t been working since. Could this have the same origin problem as then awefull mic performance on videos you maken with /e/OS and the fairphone camera app?

This works, however, it increases my links to google… thanks for the fix though!
You can swap out the Google app for Whisper and that works if you want to dump the Google app. Details on that thread.
