I do experience this with my FP4. The headset remains selected until I restart the device. After pressing a volume button, it also displays a Bluetooth symbol, even though Bluetooth is set off.
Additionally the following appears: When I use Bluetooth headset and a second headset is turned on, the new headset becomes active. In the Bluetooth settings, I can set the first headset to active, but this doesn’t work. Manually disconnecting the second headset will not make the first headset work again
The only way to continue listening to sth is restarting the FP4.
This happens like twice a day.
I never had this problem (FP5 from september 2023), using different bluetooth devices:
- earbuds: JLab, Lenovo, MPow
- speakers: Wavemaster, Energy Sistem
- carradio: Dasaita PX6 with Android 10…
@jblandin problem with connect&activate second device when another already connected i have, but not need reboot, simply in BT settings, disconect new and reconnect previous is enough
I hope it would be so easy with my phone. I use Huawei Freebuds 5i and Bose QC 35 II.
I opened a seperate FP4 topic. @k3dAR you us a FP5 however I moved your comment as well as it was adressing @jblandin directly.
That was the reply from the Fairphone support, as I have the
same issue.
It works, but only for a certain amount of time. It is not a permanent fix.

- Restart the device and try again.
