How can I, in a simple way ( e.g. using the moments slider ), get a silent phone?

If Do not disturb is doing that sufficiently (I have not used it yet), you can choose this in the slider settings in Settings > Switch. Alternatively, you can also set the slider to triggering Aeroplane mode.

You can also edit and re-arrange the quick setting icons (which you usually reach by swiping from the top of the screen) at your choice (with the :pencil: pencil symbol that appears at the bottom when you swipe from the top twice) and e.g. move the Aeroplane Mode icon at the very top.

This is not what I want. I want a simple solution so only the sound will be stopped. A option to get a silent phone. So not by not changng the screensliders one by one but a one button orr one touch solution.

I cannot find a sep by step anual for the moment button so it’s useless for me.

In the quick settings there is no option for silence only

I do not have FP6 (so no slider) but I use do not disturb (DND) to silent my phone - which seems to be what you wish to achieve.

I guess it could also be done with the volume buttons but it looks a bit more tricky as you have more sound options.

Please let us know your experience with DND mode

Calls and notifications? Just set it to silent isnt sufficient? Vol button strike through bell? And what Urs suggest is otherwise a simple solution you only habe to set it up once

Set the moments switch to DnD mode and set it to allow all notifications but set it to block media sounds.

DnD - > Alarms and other interruptions - > Media Sounds. Set that to off

I just wat all volume set at zero. Silence an see, feel who is calling ot sending a message.

Perhaps the yellow-green slider can be set to this function. But where is the manual!

Al the advises are complicated without an manual. I found a simple solution. Just press volume up or down an above the slider I see a pictogramm. Tuoching it I can get a silent phone, nice in the theatre and in during a concert

Stiil i don’t get the use of te moments slider. So it is only a nice colour on the phone.
