Edit: I did not know that monthly updates are provided for first 3 years after model release

For some arbitrary values of “only a security patch” :joy:

But no, in fact, I like timely security fixes a lot! Keep up the pace, there’s still some optimization possible, but that’s the way to go!

I guess the process for releasing updates to all the correct places is not automated?

The fact that Fairphone post their update ROMs is one of the big plus points of Fairphone, please don’t stop doing this! Thanks.

This often takes a few days, so after 3 days in my eyes there is no reason to think the would stop uploading

Got the update this morning on Deutsche Telekom sub-provider (Congstar/ ja! mobil). After a few updates without delay they needed a week once again…

After installing the update, several problems started occurring:

  • Random reboots, around once per day. This never happened before, and I have no Idea what else could be causing them (no overheating/RAM exhaustion/etc.)
  • Some apps refusing to open sometimes. Clicking the icon starts the app briefly, but it instantly closes again. Which apps are affected by this changes with time.

I can’t say for sure that this update caused these issues, but they only started around the time of the update, and I know no other probable cause.
