That has only happened to me once so far. I didnāt think anything of it at the time. Does it happen to you more often?

I think itās happened twice since the updateā¦ At first I thought it was just a random thing, but the second time last night when it happened was when I commented here as it seems like maybe the update was related, as Iāve never had this problem before.

Did the stock launcher and/or background image change through the last update(s)? I noticed that suddenly there is a different image in the ādesktopā background!
Furthermore, I find it hard to distinguish the ālight blueā color from white in the quick settings (swiping down from top to for example switch between automatic brightness on and off, cannot distinguish them anymoreā¦).
Do you experience similar curiosities?
For some reason, Iām still not seeing this update, even though the previous updates were offered pretty quickly, within a day or two of the announcement. 
Iām on the Bouygues Telecom network in France.

Up to now, I could not see the last update in the Austrian net of Hot/Magenta. Got anyone the update in Austria?
The deutsche Telekom is also still blocking the update, for 3 weeks now

Enable developer settings and search for 5G NR and check if its set to SA and NSA.

Setting to SA and NSA doesnāt change anything. Updates are not available.

Fairphone is still blocking the update for all Deutsche Telekom network users as long as Deutsche Telekom does not publish it for their users - even for those not being customers of Deutsche Telekom.
Since the last security patch level is October 5th, itās 3 days over the three months now once again and the phone is not usable as work phone as AER, even though promoted as such by Fairphoneā¦ Security patch level older than 3 months ā common rule: phone locked.
Well this was not meant to get updates and o ly to get 5G after the update for @MikVV
So, I have a FP5 mainly with a Swiss-based eSIM but also a Deutsche-Telekom-eSIM. Could I just deactivate the other eSIM?
Edit: Yes, this worked and the update went through.

Same thing. I usually get the updates quickly but this one wonāt come. Bouygues Telecom, France as well.
The same in Austria. The Update is still not available
I just disabled the Telekom-SIM and re-enabled an outdated Airalo-eSim from last vacation. Got the update in minutes (with WiFi) and it run without any problems. Especially the annoying bug with the network name is gone, but an old problem seems to be back: even if WiFi/WLAN is deaktivatet and I want to use 5G because WLAN is unstable in some places the WLAN gets automatically turned on sometimes.
Isnāt that a Wifi setting? In your settings, search for āTurn on Wi-Fi automaticallyā. It should enable wifi if you are close to a known network (I think it needs to sniff already before to figure that out), so that would make sense somehow. If it still does that while the setting is disabled then this might be a bug, indeed.
