Dear Community,

We are starting to roll out a security patch update for Fairphone 4 users who are on Orange France & Belgium from today, February 5, 2026. This is a staged roll out, so you may not see it on your phone right away.

Thanks, a pity you didn’t release the February 5th patches since we’re February 5th today… Oh well, I guess Fairphones need to be at least a month behind on updates. :man_shrugging:

Now let’s see when FP4.TP33.C.0146.20260123 will actually appear for download (right now it doesn’t, I just checked).

For those who have 2 SIMs (an Orange and a non-Orange) in their phones:

To find this update, you might need to disable the other SIM, leaving only the Orange SIM active.

Apparently lately the FP4 configurations have become too complicated for the update system and it fails when you have several phone providers… But that’s not a problem:

You can disable the “other” SIM easily in Settings/Network & internet/SMSs: Select the non-Orange SIM and in the menu which appears, switch it off. Then, after installing the update and rebooting, re-enable it again. Easy-peasy.

Thanks! I swapped to an Orange France SIM card, update was detected after a reboot :+1: no issues since few hours

My FP4 is still on android 13 with the November security patch, I haven’t received any updates since. I am not on an Orange network, I am with mobile Vikings, but currently roaming on Elisa EE. I made a ticked with customer support, but I haven’t received any response yet.

Is there anyone here who could help me to either get the android 15 update or the most recent patch of 13? I am afraid I got stuck in a loophole where I am running the first patch, meant for orange users, and now I wont get any new updates,
