(maybe we missed an update at one stage here)

It seems this could work to disable the update reminders for now:
Developper options → automatically install new updates → “off”

Finally there is the security update C.143 including Sep 5 fixes for our FP4s. FP4.TP31.C.0143 Release date: 03 October 2025 Android version: 13 Security patch level: September 2025 Changes: Security patch level.

Yes, I thought it was supposed to superseed the first A15 release (FP4.QREL.15.14.3 right?) but it doesn’t appear

Should I maybe reboot?

They currently and to their knowledge always have only had the upgrade to A15 offered (FP4.QREL.15.14.3)

We’re going to refrain from upgrading for now, but we would like to update to FP4.TP32.C.0144

I will not dare to advise as this is confusing to me. I don’t really understand why they have not been offered an Orange dedicated one. Are they using any other sim?

Will just leave the dates here and perhaps the Community Manager, would have some advise on proper order, @Fairphone_CM

Damn I had forgotten this! Yes, there is a second physical SIM, from another operator (Free)
I didn’t think it could interfere, and it’s rather recent *(<6 months).
(on the other hand they’ve always used the Orange eSIM, it’s their main number)

This is the “November 5th” security update for people still on A13.

It’s the only update Orange users got since the initial A15 update was retired (assuming they had resisted and not installed it while it was offered).

Any news for FP4.TP32.C.0144 Orange users? Our security update is still “November 5th” and today we’re February 1st. By Thursday security patch level will be 3 months old.

We all (Orange users) are, and we should be happy about it…

Despite the triumphant announcement November 2025, until Fairphone gets their A15 fixed we should better stay on A13 and its only minor bugs.

On our side, we’re still stuck on FP4.TP31.C.0143.20250917 and only FP4.SREL.15.14.4 offered (dual SIM use : Free (physical) / Orange France (eSIM) )

So we’re not updating to be safe, but is there any way I could trigger the latest security patch installation for A13 ?
