Silent messages (only vibrate), but ringtone for calls

Is it possible to have different ringtone volumes on incoming calls and messages. I would like it to just vibrate when I receive a message, but have it ring loudly when receiving an incoming call.

I don’t think so. ringtone-, text messages- and notification-volumes are linked. maybe there are apps that can do that.
the only thing i can think of is you can choose a more discrete notification sound for your text messages or maybe, if you really want texts to be silent - you could use a silent audio file as your notification sound.

I think it’s possible.

  1. open the sms app
  2. tap settings
  3. tap notifications (Benachrichtigungen)
  4. check “vibrate”
  5. choose “none” from “choose ringtone”
