You seemingly didn’t read my first post and this feels disrepectful to me. Changing the setting would not require anybody to set their real name and it would also not hide the user name.
@_Chris I wasn’t aware of this. My profile on meta.discourse.org is publicly visibly and I thought it was the same way here. This changes a lot of course.
I would like to thank everyone who has added valuable arguments to this discussion. I didn’t see it like a battle, but in my eyes others saw it differently, which makes me a bit sad. Closing the discussion. (I’m still interested in your stance on this, @Monica.Ciovica

Edit: Oh, almost forgot this: There were two or three trolls and we seemingly handled them well if you didn’t notice them.
