Sd card but no SD card installed

Recently when I go to take a photo my Fairphone 3 it says my Sd card is full, but I don’t have a sd card installed. Any ideas on how to fix this. My what’s app camera works fine.

How full is your internal storage at Settings > Storage ?

ok, then it’s probably not that. I was asking because traditionally the internal file system has – quite confusingly – often labelled the internal storage as “sdcard” and a MicroSD card as “sdcard1” or “external_card” (or similar).

OK, but thank you for replying and trying to help.

It still could be the explanation.
Mabe the 16% space left is reserved for the OS and/or other apps. It might not be accessible for the camera app and therefore the space available to the camera is full.

You could try freeing up space by transferring pictures to a computer or a real SD-card.
If that free space would do the trick, you might have the solution (besides getting an actual SD-card of course  ).

Please check the storage path settings in the camera app. Sounds like they have been mistakenly changed.

Camera app > Cog wheel > Storage

Good luck,
