Is it possible for a thin top layer of my screen to come off, on a 4 year old FP3?
In my case: yes, and this also started this month on a FP3 from March 2020. On my screen it’s only a very small part in the top right hand corner, just outside of the actual screen, so it does not affect the usability (for now…).
in the exact same spot, so it will probably be aging…
In use, the spot does not bother me, but I do feel that the sensitivity of my screen may be deteriorating.
Over time, replacement of my screen may be necessary,. But I would like to know how long does a Fairphone last that you can invest another 80 euros? Does it extend the life of a - for example - 5 year old FP with 2 years?
