Screen doesn't turn on again after a call

When I make a call or listen to a voice message, my screen stays black after I remove it from my ear although it should turn on again so I can hang up. I have to remove the battery to stop the call. It doesn’t do this with earphones, so there is probably a problem in the detector of the phone that should notice when I remove my ear from the screen… Please help me !

Proximity sensor calibration tool

When my phone connects to a caller, the screen goes blank and insensitive. I’m told this is due to the proximity sensor needing to be calibrated, and that there is a tool to do this. Where do I find it, and how do I do it?
