Screen comes on when charging cable disconnected

When the charging cable is disconnected my Fairphone 6 screen comes on. Is there an option to disable this so the screen doesn’t come on?

“Wake on plug” in the display settings

Thanks for the reply. However, there isn’t a “wake on plug” option in my display settings. Might it have another name? I had looked at all these settings before posting this question.

Oh, sorry. I believed this was a standard setting for stock Android too.

I only have /e/os. The setting is at the very bottom of Settings->Display

No problem, thanks for the suggestion. I’ve had another look at all the options under “display” in Android 16 but there doesn’t seem to be anything similar
