Screen calibration off?

Hey everyone!

I recently had to replace my screen and noticed some rather strange behaviour ever since. It is a bit hard to describe but the best attempt would be to call the screen not sensitive enough or not properly calibrated. Scrolling is sluggish in some apps and my keyboard input is not as accurate as it used to be. It is somewhat subtle at times, but after finally doing a direct comparison between my (cracked but functional) old and my new screen, the difference is huge. I captured the odd scrolling in Chrome:

Old: https://drive.google.com/file/d/14RuUPkl17Gc1ic4Zq5EVOb6zN3ldVbnU/view?usp=sharing

I’m well aware of the typical screen issues, but this seems different from what I have seen in the past. It’s not due to “dead” areas on the screen or because it is plugged into a charger.

My current screen is one of the newer models and I have tested with both LineageOS and Fairphone Open 17.11.2.

So before I contact Fairphone support about this, I first wanted to check here if there is any way to try and re-calibrate the screen or get additional information that could help me pinpoint the issue.

Cheers
Anton

I belive that’s the same issue as described here in german.
People there also say this happens in some apps Chrome being one of them.

This does indeed sound very similar! I’ll join the conversation there and post anything useful we find here in English.
