I know it is coming late, but as a reference if anybody finds this thread through the search …
- Act fast, so no new stuff on the phone overwrites the deleted stuff in the phone’s storage.
- A simple Google search suggests several tools to recover deleted messages, for a start see here, here, here or here.
- Use an antivirus scanner on all downloads you do for this, I suppose desperation invites malware spreaders to try to take advantage
