Random reboots After android 13 update

@simonk How can I make the update? Looking here, the update seems not to be official?

The update came like any other update. I got a notification on the phone and clicked install. Surely the update will arrive soon on all devices.
5G is now activated and no reboot since the update 12 hours ago

It’s official, it had been announced and expected to arrive around this date. It’s just that Fairphone has decided “FP4” is a (swear)word they won’t utter anymore… :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I got the update yesterday (by actively checking for available updates) and installed it. I kept the phone disconnected from the WiFi and on 5G for several hours. No issue. Then I drove 166 kilometres without WiFi and only 5G, and still no issue.
So far, it’s much better than when I got the first Android 13 upgrade, as that gave me two reboots in 10 minutes. So a big thanks to the engineers who resolved this issue!

The update was displayed on 25 December. I have not yet been able to test it in detail, but no reboots to date.
Thank you for the update and also for the communication from Fairphone. Please keep up the good work.

No reboots in a few weeks! I will try to enable 5G again and see. Thanks!
