Quality microphone is too bad to make phone calls

Every time I make a phone call people tell me they can hardly hear me speak. Only if I speak very loudly and clearly they can hear me. It’s not my voice, other phones work perfectly. Also my message is faint. I suppose it is the quality of the microphone? Do other people have the same problem?

Yes, there are a couple of different topics about this. As with every tech product, there are always a couple of devices that don’t work as they should. Fairphone support has a support article with instructions on which tests to perform and what to do in the case of microphone issues. They’ll arrange for a warranty replacement if it is a defect. If you get a different result on one of the tests there may be a different issue, in which case you could ask for help here (or contact support anyway).
