I really love your attention to detail, like the inscriptions on the circuit boards.
If you have the fever, you habe the fever !!
HA!
Great!!! I did not know that the comunity is already up to this!
I made a concept back in 2015 but never really did something wiht it.
Awsome work!
Thanks!!
What was your concept ?
I’ve won the second price in my category !!
And it would be very cool, if those who ordered a case from shapeways could say a few words about the case itself and the quality of it !!
PS: People of FP I made an other addon !!
=> an small OLED with a size 128 x 32
Congratulations!
My schapeways case is still on the way, but i will provide feedback
Poke me if i forget it …
Thanks!!
I will do so
Are there any shields you would like to have ?
Any ideas for a new extension?
How about an LED-matrix like this ?
EDIT1: Had to do the LED matrix
EDIT2: So many possibilities !!
Can`t wait to get the PCB and assamble it
but look what you can do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDDfvGl9m84
Hey, congrats to your second place! That is quite an achievement! I am proud of you! And I think Fairphone can be proud of you, too! @Douwe
Hey, thank you !!
I have to say that the reactions in this forum are worth more to me than the achievement itself !!
So awesome! (Mini)lightsabers ftw!
Very impressive! Congratulations on your 2nd place
Congrats, really cool.
And think I would like one of those cases
@Sietse Files are free to download on my Hackaday-page or you can order it in my shop on shapeways
The questions is sith or Jedi ?
Why not both? Up to the user to decide!
@Esmee I ordered 3 PCBs and 3 different colored LED-types ( all in all more than 300 LEDs )
I thought Fairphone are the good ones …
Thanks, for sure will look at it
Not that I already would have a proper purpose for it, but looks kind of cool.
I like the purple !!
EDIT:
What would you think of a case design like that…
… the slot will be filled with a milled piece of acrylic and could be covered by a logo or could be illuminated with some LEDs?
EDIT2: I ordered this type of case in black !! I will post how it looks like with the milled acyrlic
Any suggestions what I should mill on the acrylic ?
EDIT3: I milled a few parts for the cover of the DIY-shield to protect everything better !!
Files are available like always on my Hackaday-project-page !!
Edit4: The case and the OLED-pcb have finally arrived at my home !!
Right now I’m milling the upper part of a cover
If somebody needs something milled, you can always ask me !!
