I do not find where to reset the change in the progress indicator. After the A15 upgrade it seems to have changed in some apps from the turning circle animation to some animated changing geometric forms and from linear to wave line.
I am obviously too stupid to find the settings for this and I would like to ask if maybe someone here can give me a hint?
Could it be in the settings of Quickstep I wonder?
I do not know. But I use Nova Launcher and never touched any Quickstep setting. Also this is not consistent in all apps only in some, for example in the update section in the play store app (circle while updating the list of apps) and also in the memory management section in “Apps” where the linear bar is shown as “snake line”
I guess it must be something local on my phone as I am currently testing a replacement device FP sent where it does not happen. That shows it is not related to the Google account at least.
If you use Nova Launcher perhaps it is in their settings. Just a thought.

Good idea, I will check. On first view I did not see anything that would explain the behavior, yet.
