It could be that the apps are not fully compatible with the version of android, but this is probably not the case.
You might not find many people using these apps on these forums.
I’d suggest to the app developers and advise them of the problems. If they suggest it’s the phone rather than their software, I’d suggest raising this directly to Fairphone support to look into. Can’t say whether you’ll get them fixed either way, but worth trying
This may be a trivial question, but do you have Google Apps installed (e.g. through the installer widget)?
A lot of today’s Android applications rely on stuff like Google’s Play Services.
