Problem with screen mirroring

Hi,

I have a problem when trying to connect my FP5 to an external monitor using USB-C. When connecting, the FP5 tells me Liquid or debris in the USB socket which is definitely not the case. Only sometimes it asks me, if the screen shall be mirrored. In this case the screen is shown on the monitor but the aspect is not correct. It is much wider than it is supposed to be. Immediately after connecting the FP5 asks me about the default app to use for USB and suggests MTP host. I am using an USB-C hub and the monitor supports 4k resolution. Directly connecting to the monitor without USB-C hub doesn’t change anything.

If I connect via Miracast to my LG TV the aspect ratio is fine.

Just want to mention, that the same monitor works perfectly fine with a Lenovo Thinkpad and other Samsung Android Devices (XCover 6, Tab Active Pro).

Any ideas, maybe a setting I do not know of?

Thanks and kind regards, Juergen

No thats a device compatibilty issue in my eyes. I had this with a HP docking station and dont have with the Shift Hub

I like to use scrcpy (need a PC)
