Problem to reach the reparation site

Hello

I have a problem with my FP6 notworking.

Since 2hours I try to connect to the troubleshooting website : FAIRPHONE - ONE CONNECT. It’s impossible as my 2 computers identify that page as dangerous. Avast and Norton refuse it. The browsers block it too.

Someone could help and tell me how to unblock ? or have met already and solve that problem ?

Best regards

It probably doesn’t help you much, but on a company computer with Windows 11, Windows Defender and Firefox with builtin tracking blocker plus uBlock Origin add-on I don’t have problems accessing that URL (from Germany, but not sure if that is relevant).

Hi Louis,
welcome to the community forum!

This sounds like a false positive to me. I just checked a few other services if they block-list the website as well, and I don’t find any other. VirusTotal lists about 50 scanners that don’t alert about it: VirusTotal
Sucuri and their linked scanners either: Website Security Checker | Malware Scan | Sucuri SiteCheck
And Cloudflare: https://radar.cloudflare.com/scan/5460a33c-5b20-4340-9253-65983c079463/security

I reported it at Norton as false-positive and they promise to review it within 48 hours. If you don’t want to deactivate/ skip the warning, you may wait 2 days and see if Norton lifts the ban or not

Thank you for your message. I do’nt understand. I tried with one computer windows 10 and one windows 11. Neither are able to go on the website. I try to find the reason.

Someone replied to your post.

For what it’s worth.
I can confirm too.
No problem accessing the site. Linux, Firefox+uBlock; same for Chromium.
The site just asks my country & language

Thank you. I have finally found the solution. Avast was blocking the website and I found the way to temporary desactivate Avast to access the website. Thank you all !

It’s quite strange that both Avast and Norton consider it as a threat. But anyway, I found a solution.
