Poll: Which country do you come from?

Nice pool!

I’ll like to add french regions, but I don’t understand how to edit the pool.
When I clic on the small pencil on the top, I can only see the history of modification. Maybe I don’t have enough posts or reward or other stuff to edti? Or I just miss the right button :slightly_smiling:

If someone can add this list:

Alsace
Aquitaine
Auvergne
Basse-Normandie
Bourgogne
Bretagne
Centre-Val de Loire
Champagne-Ardenne
Corse
Franche-Comté
Guadeloupe
Guyane
Haute-Normandie
Île-de-France
La Réunion
Languedoc-Roussillon
Limousin
Lorraine
Martinique
Mayotte
Midi-Pyrénées
Nord-Pas-de-Calais
Pays de la Loire
Picardie
Poitou-Charentes
Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur
Rhône-Alpes

Unfortunately polls cant be added or edited after 5 minutes of creation of the post, so I made a new post. Also a poll can only have 20 options, so I split it.

Oh, ok, thanks.

I accidentally tapped on “Burgenland”. Now I can only change between the Austrian Bundesländer (so I changed to “Wien”), but not remove my vote. I think I have to move to Austria.

Edit: I also accidentally tapped on “Bretagne”. I think I shouldn’t open that thread on the FP2.

You should do so – everyone who moves to Vienna gets a free Fairphone (“Gemeindefon”) from the city government.

I wish that municipal procurement would consider buying Fairphones for their employees. We should invite someone from that department to the fairERleben in April (which actually takes place in the Vienna town hall) and persuade them… The Vienna Gemeindefon for each citizen would just be the next logical step!

Nearly the half of users (46%) come from Germany.

I calculated the portion of inhabitants in Germany (according to Wikipedia):

  • Baden-Württemberg: 13.2 %
  • Bayern: 15.6 %
  • Berlin: 4.2 %
  • Brandenburg: 3.0 %
  • Bremen: 0.8 %
  • Hamburg: 2.2 %
  • Hessen: 7.5 %
  • Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: 2.0 %
  • Niedersachsen: 9.6 %
  • Nordrhein-Westfalen: 21.8 %
  • Rheinland-Pfalz: 4.9 %
  • Saarland: 1.2 %
  • Sachsen: 5.0 %
  • Sachsen-Anhalt: 2.8 %
  • Schleswig-Holstein: 3.5 %
  • Thüringen: 2.7 %

The poll has now the following results:

  • Baden-Württemberg: 13 %
  • Bayern: 26 %
  • Berlin: 8 %
  • Brandenburg: 0 %
  • Bremen: 3 %
  • Hamburg: 0 %
  • Hessen: 12 %
  • Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: 0 %
  • Niedersachsen: 5 %
  • Nordrhein-Westfalen: 23 %
  • Rheinland-Pfalz: 0 %
  • Saarland: 2 %
  • Sachsen: 5 %
  • Sachsen-Anhalt: 2 %
  • Schleswig-Holstein: 0 %
  • Thüringen: 0 %

There seems to be a focus of Fairphoners in Bayern and Hessen. While the northern Bundesländer (Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg, Hessen) have no voters yet. East Germany (without Berlin) seems not to be Fairphoner-focused. Sachsen and Sachsen-Anhalt have not a higher voter percentage than the population percentage, while Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Brandenburg and Thüringen have no voters yet.

I must limit the poll to the 20 biggest cities in Germany. In the brackets are the Bundesländer.

There is “other country” and the extra poll “if you chose other country…” where you can choose Asia. You can create an additional poll to investigate further where from Asia forum users are coming, but so far no one even voted for Asia.
