Playground: Features of this forum

Ok, just found out, how to mark keys here on the forum.

Solution is to use the <kbd>-tag.
Example: <kbd>keys</kbd>

And what does this do @Stefan?

You mean the “kbd”-Tag? E.g. you can tell someone to press Ctrl+c simultaneously.

I was trying to insert coloured text, but didn’t succeed…

Just checking if RSS feeds work for a topic…

Edit: OK so you can add “.rss” to any topic, copy the resulting url into a RSS reader and follow it through rss. Example: https://forum.fairphone.com/t/playground-features-of-this-forum/28.rss

Does anybody know why this

 - Text
  - Text
  - Text

Sometimes leads to this:

  • Text
  • Text
  • Text

and sometimes to this:

  • Text

  • Text
  • Text

?

It’s quite annoying if you want to use it more than once in a post and it looks different every time.

It might depend on what’s before the list. Cause if you don’t start with a headline, the list isn’t rendered at all:
-Text

Yeah but take a look here:

I don’t see what could possibly be different in the lists.

EDIT: Correction: Only the first sub list is rendered without the additional line break.

Must be a bug in the Discourse software.

Or its meant just for lists without any line breaks, eg:

  • Text
  • Text
  • Text
  • Text
  • Text
  • Text

but if you add a line break after the 3rd “text”:

  • Text

  • Text

  • Text

  • Text

  • Text

  • Text

Can I do an in-post poll?

  • Yes
  • No

Hello,
in a post one can either reply to the post or reply to a reply…
My posts are shown with all the replies just under each other, not in any hierarchy. Is this possible? I have searched the preferences and not found anything.
