Placing fotos and videos from FP2 to desktop computer

Since half a year I can’t transport my foto’s and videos by USB cable to my desktop computer. I used to do it very easily. I got a notification then and choosed to delete them from my FP2 to my DT Computer. Since half a year, I get a message that there’s no images or whatsoever to be transferred. Can anyone help?

USB connection to PC: FP2 icon appears, but "this folder is empty"

When connecting the phone you’ll get a notification on your phone as well. Tap on it and you’ll see different options what the phone can do with this USB connection. Default should be charging only, so you’ll need to switch to MTP, then your files should be available again.

You might have to swipe down to find the notification. The behavior has changed with the update from Android 5 to Android 6. This might explain why you have the issue for about half a year now.
