When i switch from the camera app to another it stops recording. Also in the pause mode.
How can i stay recording a video even if i put the screen off ?

don’t use it, but only test app from first result google search “android record video with screen off”
on FP5, record video if switch to another app, if screen is off and also if phone locked
EDIT: this apps i not tested, but post as is opensource 
I use Droid Dashcam, it records in the background as well. As it is a dashcam-app it has some unique features, in case that’s something you could use.
