Phone audio very quiet

Hello. I have the FP4, and the audio during phone calls is very quiet. The audio for everything else is fine: notifications, streaming videos, etc. It is only the audio during phone calls that I can’t hear without straining.

This occurs when I use the phone’s built-in speakers, but also with several bluetooth headsets I’ve tried, and the bluetooth connection in my car. They are all too quiet during phone calls, even though I have the volume turned all the way up. (But they work fine for other types of audio, as I said.)

This makes me think there is some kind of software issue. How do I troubleshoot this?
Thanks.

Just to be sure, did you use the volume controls during the call?

I’ve tried everything. Whether I adjust the volume, or leave it untouched, the audio is always too quiet.
I’ve looked all through the settings and can’t find anything that works.
It has been like this since I got the phone last June (about 6 months ago)

So far people rather complaint its too loud…do you use the stock FP system or any other OS?

I usw IODEOS and have the same problem

Yes, the phone is turned up to maximum volume.

I have the Murena eOS. That’s all they had available when I was buying the phone.

Have you found a solution?

During the call? The volume control buttons do have different functions, depending on the situation.

Yes, of course. When you’re in a phone call and can’t hear, the first thing you do is fiddle with the volume buttons.
