On the Plus Side: great Wi-Fi 6 connectivity on the FP5

I was recently able to test Wi-Fi 6 performance (not at home, or even at the office, alas …)

I was getting 2.3 Gbps (shown as 2401 Mbps) on the local network, I couldn’t believe my eyes, first time I’ve seen anything over 1 Gbps. Man, for a phone …!

I’ll be goin’ round there do all my updates … :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Yes, I can confirm that the FP5 is quite performant in our WiFi 6 home network. The app belonging to my router (Fritzbox) has shown such connection speeds and in the best case only my work notebook (a somewhat recent Dell) has shown similar performance. Need to do actual data transfers, but it’s difficult finding a suitable data source that can keep up with that.

Sure, and of course it’s the weakest link in the chain that sets the data transfer speed. No use having 2Gbps at home if the server at the other end is on ADSL

But it’s a good thing nonetheless, to improve the links that one can!
