Non-root | Backup of userdata

Hi,

is there any way to backup userdata on a non-rooted phone? Especially progress in games? :face_with_peeking_eye:

Google Play doesn’t work for me for whatever reason.

Also: Since my bootloader is unlocked I thought about a temporary root (and fix my problem), but my FP4 won’t be recognized when attached to computer. What is that all about?

Same computer, same usb-port, same cable are working fine with my FP5.

Any idea how to temporary root over Wifi Debugging?

If you use a community build, “adb root” commands should be possible (check in developer options)

I am running on Stock. Is adb root possible here, too?

If not, any other idea?

You may try to temporary boot OrangeFOX recovery (may need an unlocked bootloader)

Yeah, my BL is unlocked. That’s why I thought about a temporary root. But as mentioned, my FP won’t be recognized when attached to a computer.

Any idea how to fix that?

Is your FP4 not recognised when it is attached when normally booted or when in bootloader?

Neither Nor. It is not recognized in BL and it is also not recognized when normally booted.
