I’ve had the Fairphone 1 for more than four years now. There have been good and bad times with it but it basically still runs perfectly. The only thing in the way to a longer life time is a software update. Already now, I cannot use quite a few apps because the Fairphone version is too old. Will there be more updates? Or will a missing update mean the end of a perfectly working phone, especially that is made to last long?

You could upgrade to 4.4 (alpha) to make at least some apps run again (for some time).
