Hi @Kkesselflicker,
Welcome to the Form.
sorry to hear your having problems with your internet connection.
i understand you already walked tru the regular staps of the APN settings so no need to post those.
Did you contact your provider? it can be a problem with your Provider.
You can try to test a different simcard in your phone.
Troubleshoot SIM Card’s
Maybe your dataplan is finished, some providers don’t block the internet completely but only make it very slow after you finished your MB’s.
i hope this helps you a bit,
just throwing in some ideas.
good luck,
Tom
Hello @Kkesselflicker
If you don’t receive SMS messages, it feels to me the problem is not only with the Internet but more general with the network.
The usual suspect might be the SIMcard, is it old? Is it working in different phones?
This is no indicator that the SIM is not faulty.
Try installing a VPN on the phone and see if connecting resolves your issues. If yes, then your provider is messing with your Internet connection.
From your description, all things being equal (your phone did not change, but the network performance did) - that seems like the most likely option. Either that or you installed a Bad Thing.
it doesn’t sound as a very logical test stap to my?
Or am i wrong?
It is easy to do and costs you nothing. It usefully limits the set of probable causes. I would say that makes it a logical next step.
Customer support is not necessarily knowledgeable, and their first job is to make sure you don’t contact them again. So if they can blame your problem on your phone, then that is easy money. If you can prove it is their network it is harder for them to make you doubt yourself.
Thank you for all the Help. It Turned Out to be a Problem with the Provider. Somehow the Option for mobile internet was blocked without any reason and without telling me.
Problem ist no solved.
Thanks for your Help!
