So, I did this procedure today with my sisters’ FP…1.3 → 1.6 → PreUpdate 1.8.5. → 1.8.5 → GAPPS.
Everything went fine EXEPT the GAPPS:
I installed it right from the updater without any problems, but after rebooting twice I still can’t see any of the google apps neither I can see the PlayStore.
I tried already to reinstall GAPPS from the updater again, without success.
I have not applied UnifiedStorageUpgrader and did not mady any manuall changes in the layout.
- Did I missed any hint about GAPPS installation? (clearing cache etc…?)
- Is the “Hotfix” for my purpose? (but I did not used the faulty upgrader…)
- a wrong passwort after GAPPS installation for the google account could not be the problem, right? At least the apps should be there without a google account…
